During my studies in Human-Computer Interaction at the university, I embarked on an exciting project to create an app from the ground up. This endeavor involved the entire app development process, from ideation and initial paper mock-ups to meticulous coding structure planning. My team and I were deeply immersed in every facet of this journey.

Our group's objective was to explore the development of a real-world application and collaborate with a company in need of our expertise. After thorough research, we partnered with heavymetal.dk, a platform seeking to expand its online presence through a dedicated app.

For this project, we employed Android Studio as our development tool and Java as the primary programming language. As a team, we learned valuable lessons in effective collaboration, each of us assuming different areas of responsibility. My primary focus areas included configuring Settings, managing Shared Preferences, integrating Facebook and Instagram APIs, implementing notifications, and designing the main user interface.

This project was exceptionally fulfilling, and the prospect of our app being used by real users was a driving force behind our dedication. I invested countless hours refining and enhancing various features to ensure the app met the highest standards of usability. You can find the app available for download on the 'Google Play Store link.
